Parts Counter Person

The Paul Miller Motor Company, a Lexington landmark since 1953, is looking for a qualified, organized, customer-oriented Parts Counter Person to join our team. Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Meet and assist customers in a courteous, professional manner
  • Provide customers with the information they need
  • Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
  • Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner
  • Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keeping the computer system up to date
  • Inform customers of any current specials
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Paul Miller Motor Company values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors

Job Requirements:

  • Two or more years of related experience (preferably in an automotive parts department)
  • One or more years of sales experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license

Contact Centre Agent

The Paul Miller Motor Company, a Lexington landmark since 1953, is looking for an outgoing, 

motivated Contact Centre Agent with outstanding customer service skills to join our team.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent time management
  • Attention to detail - in order to be considered for the position, please put "True Blue" in your

  • Proven track record of achieving (or, better, over-achieving) goals
  • Outstanding communication skills in person and over the phone as you will be making 80+ 
  • phone calls daily
  • Outgoing, friendly attitude with a high-energy personality
  • Ability to handle customer rejection and not be easily intimidated
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Above-average work ethic
  • Professional appearance
  • Stable work history with a proven record of hard work and success
  • Ability to work in a structured environment and adhere to attendance policies and scheduling 
  • requirements which include evenings and weekends
  • Computer proficiency
  • Call center experience (helpful, but not required)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Field inbound calls, respond to internet leads and call on existing customers on a daily basis. 
  • The goal of these calls is to generate responses, answer questions, and set sales appointments.
  • Achieve sales growth for our company by handling at least 80 inbound/outbound phone calls 
  • every day.
  • Generate sales and service appointments to promote greater revenue for each of our stores 
  • (Paul Miller Ford, Paul Miller Mazda, Paul Miller Auto Outlet).
  • Efficiently record all customer interaction and activity in our customer 
  • database-enter notes in a 
  • timely manner and record complete details of each call in a professional, clear, and 
  • grammatically-correct manner.
  • Effectively manage special tasks as assigned by the Contact Centre Manager to contribute 
  • to the overall success 
  • of your team, department, and company.
  • Meet individual and team goals and initiatives, including hourly, monthly, and annual benchmarks 
  • for success.
  • Provide daily updates to the Contact Centre Manager
