DRIVE FOR GOOD WITH PAUL MILLER MAZDA
One of our favorite days of the holiday season is Giving Tuesday. We love being able to give back to our community all year long, but especially so at the holidays. This year the Paul Miller Mazda team celebrated Giving Tuesday with a $10,000 donation to our friends at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital, made possible through Mazda’s Drive For Good initiative.
As in years past, this year’s donation to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital is dedicated to their Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT), which is wholly donor-supported. PACT’s services include improving the quality of life of children with serious illnesses and supporting their families through and beyond their treatment. All these services are provided free of charge to families.
This year’s donation brings our total donated to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital to nearly $70,000 over the last five years. It’s been our honor to be able to support such a vital organization to our community and our commonwealth—the Kentucky Children’s Hospital serves as Central and Eastern Kentucky’s only Level I pediatric trauma center, Level IV newborn and neonatal intensive care unit, and pediatric intensive care unit. They save lives every day, taking care of the most vulnerable Kentuckians and their families.
Much of the money we’ve donated to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital was raised through Mazda’s Drive For Good initiative, which donates funds to local causes when customers test-drive, buy, or lease a new Mazda. This year’s Drive For Good is going on now and will continue through the holiday season. I’d encourage everyone to come down to the dealership and take a new Mazda out for a spin. It’s for a good cause and you’ll have fun doing it.
